How do I make a booking?

You can make a booking through the HomeKREW app, or on the web. We’ll collect a few personal details (like your name and phone number), your address (so a professional is able to find your home), and your payment information (because anything else is so old school). After that, we’ll send a confirmation email, and if you haven’t already, you can download the app to access location tracking, tipping, and more!

To get a quote, simply start making a booking. Once we know some details about your needs, we’ll show you the price. Keep in mind that bookings carry a two-hour minimum.

Do I need to be home?

Whether or not you’re home during your booking is up to you! When you make a booking, you’ll be prompted to give your professional entry instructions. If you have a doorman or can hide a key somewhere, there’s no need for you to be home. Or, feel free to stick around during the booking. Whatever you’re most comfortable with is fine.

In any case, please don’t forget about your bookings. We’ll remind you with an email, a text message or a push notification – depending on your country, but if your professional can’t get in the door by following your entry instructions, or if you aren’t home when you said you would be, you’ll be charged the full cost of the booking.

How do I make an account?

When you make your first booking, we’ll create a Home KREW account for you. Alternatively, if you sign up using Facebook, that’ll also create an account.

What’s the cancellation policy?

Reschedule any booking for free with at least 24 hours notice. However, rescheduling or skipping a booking with short notice can cause the professionals using our platform to lose valuable work. Therefore, if you make a change to a booking between 2-24 hours of the booking start you’ll be charged a fee (AED). If you skip or cancel within two hours, the charge of the booking won’t be refunded.
